Biography:
I have practiced law in Connecticut for over twenty-five years. For the last twenty years I have been the managing partner at Sousa & Minogue, LLC. Although I have experience in various types of litigation and represent clients in all types of accident cases, I devote most of my time to representing individuals who have been injured at work in the State of Connecticut.
I have extensive experience in all areas of workers compensation law. I have represented clients in thousands of cases, both contested and uncontested. I have obtained benefits and often negotiated favorable settlements for thousands of Connecticut workers.
In addition to my practice I have been involved in politics. I have held elective office serving as the First Selectman (Mayor) for the Town of Orange, Connecticut from 1995-1999. I was the first democrat elected in the history of the Town in its 173 year history. After serving two terms, I decided not to seek re-election so that I could solely focus my efforts on representing injured workers in Connecticut.
I am also proud to state that I have served my country in the United States Army where I was a commissioned United States military intelligence officer.
I currently reside in Orange with my wife and four children.
